University of Arizona Department of Public Health:

This is considered to be the number one training ground for public health administrators and educators in the state of Arizona, and one of the best in the country. The department offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as non-degree certificates. The school also offers a number of clinical and professional experience opportunities that students can use to make the transition into the professional world. The faculty in this department is made of experienced professionals who work closely with students to help them complete their degree programs and usher them into their new careers.

Master of Public Health:

This is a competitive graduate program, designed for students who wish to gain an advanced understanding of issues, challenges, and ideas in today's public health field. Students begin the program by declaring individual areas of study and interest. Students then begin with a core education that is designed to help them get an introduction into the current world of public health. Students learn about a variety of local and global issues. They learn about health promotion and education practices. They also learn about top careers in the public health field. Students perform clinical work and internship work, and work closely with faculty members to complete individual research projects.

PhD in Public Health:

This is an advanced graduate program for students who already have master's degrees in the field and would like to continue with a more advanced, research-based study. Students go into the program knowing what their individual areas of research will be. Students continue with core educations in the public health field. Students then work closely with faculty advisors who guide them toward a satisfactory completion of their PhD dissertations. Students must then present their dissertations before an academic panel. Students who complete this program become researchers and educators at colleges. They also become administrators and government officials, and write and influence public health policy.

Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation:

This is considered one of the most innovative and forward thinking nursing and health programs in the country. The school, located in Phoenix, provides students with a number of unique opportunities to work in an urban environment and affect health care administration and general policy. The school offers a number of different undergraduate and graduate degrees and areas of concentration. Students are granted access to the most cutting-edge technology, software, and research methods.

Master of Public Health:

This degree program is for qualified students who would like to work in health administration, education, and promotion at big-picture levels. Students learn about issues and challenges in the field and are given a number of different experiential opportunities.
