M.S. in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience
Students that are admitted to the Cognitive/Neuroscience master’s program at the University of Oregon will have the ability to focus the emphasis of their research and coursework to fit their own individual interests within the scope of the program. Research areas that are particularly supported by faculty include cognitive and neural basis of perception, information processing, the way that memory operates on the molecular and cellular levels, issues of selective attention, language processing, and information processing, but all paths of research are encouraged.
Ph.D in Developmental Psychology
Understanding more about how humans develop their basic skills of cognition and facets of their personality as infants and children is key to being able to predict, prevent, and successfully treat mental health issues in adulthood. As candidates in the Developmental Psychology program at the University of Oregon, students will have the chance to pursue this understanding through interdisciplinary collaboration with faculty and other students, while furthering their own research interests.
