Northern Kentucky University's Graduate Finance Program
NKU was founded in 1943 and gained university status in 1976. 400 acres of land facilitate about 14,800 students. A wide range of degrees are offered at this university. The College of Business is where you can find a finance master's degree. 12% of those who study here are graduate students.
Master of Business Administration, Finance Concentration
Eight areas of specialization are offered in this program. They are finance, human resource management, business administration, information systems, entrepreneurship, international business, project management and marketing. Core courses include Accounting for Management, Information Systems in Organization and Business Communications. For your finance specialization, three specific courses will be taken. These are Investments and Security Analysis, Markets & Financial Institutions, and International Finance.

UofL was founded in 1798, making it one of the oldest universities this side of the Allegheny Mountains. It gained university status in 1970 and currently attracts students to attend from more than 110 countries. About 20,600 students were enrolled in the 2007-2008 school year. 22% of those currently attending are graduate students.
Full-Time Master of Business Administration
This is a new program at the university beginning fall of 2010. It is a 13-month program designed for students who recently graduated from their undergraduate studies. Real-world experience is offered through a part-time, paid internship that is a requirement within the program. You can choose your preferred area of study, including finance. No specific prerequisite classes are required of students interested in participating in this program.

MSU is a four-year public university. It was founded in 1922 and currently offers more than 40 master and specialist programs. Eight colleges offer students the chance to increase their level of education. The College of Business has an Economics and Finance department that offers you a chance to earn your master's degree in this concentration.
Master of Science in Economics, Emphasis in Finance
The finance option provided in this program allows students to either enter a variety of PhD programs or straight into the job market directly after completing this program. To succeed in this program, students should have a sound background in calculus, statistics and economics. Admission is open to those with a 2.75 GPA or higher, acceptable scores on either the GMAT or GRE, and an undergraduate degree in economics or a similar area. 30 credit hours are required to complete the program and either a thesis or non-thesis option is available.
