Harvard University Graduate School of Design
Harvard's Graduate School of Design is a relatively short study program, stretching over just 18 months. It is a non-studio, post-professional degree and specializes in advanced studies of technology, design, sustainability, housing, urbanism, real estate and project management. They currently offer six concentration areas.
Master's in Design Studies-History and Philosophy of Design
Graduate students enrolled in this program will concentrate on new mythologies for architectural culture, as well as the history and theory of both contemporary and modern architecture. A few electives and required courses are modernism, buildings texts and contexts, architecture, science, and technology, and digital culture, space and society.
Master's in Design Studies-Urbanism, Landscape, and Ecology
This program examines architectural and urban practices, as well as the habits of thought that are commonly associated with ecological thinking. Courses are taken over at least three terms, and cover many seminars on a range of subjects like landscape architecture, urbanism and climate, urban design, and ecological urbanism.

The PhD program will prepare students for hands-on design and in-depth programming.
Master's in Computer Science-Networks
Graduate students pursuing this program will focus on network analysis and modeling, as well as network protocols. PhD in Computer Science-Computer and Information Science
