The University of Michigan Business School was founded in 1924. It was renamed in 2004 after alumnus, Stephen M. Ross who donated $100 million to the school. It has been consistently been ranked in the lists of MBA schools.

The mission statement for the Eli Broad College of Business is "To excel in the education and development of business leaders and in the creation and dissemination of knowledge." The business school is on the Michigan State University Campus and also holds classes at the Management Education Center in Troy Michigan.
