Davenport University's Graduate Finance Program
DU was founded in 1866 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Branches of this university exist in several places across the state and Northern Indiana. Three academic divisions comprise the degrees offered by the school, including the Donald W. Maine School of Business where you can find degrees that concentrate in finance. 8% of the 11,600 students enrolled here are graduate students.
Master of Science in Business Administration, Finance Concentration
This is the only MBA program in Michigan that offers concentration in many areas, including Accounting, Finance, Health Care Management, Human Resources and Strategic Management. The program is accredited by the IACBE, which is a true indication of its excellence. Small class sizes are kept to about 15 students to enhance the personal feeling of your educational experience. For admission, you must exhibit a strong academic record in your GPA and GMAT test score. Classes include Taxation of Corporations and Trusts, Accounting Research, Federal Taxation I and Forensic Accounting.

This American liberal arts university is located in Allendale, Michigan. It was founded in 1960 and covers a total of 1,237 acres of land. More than 24 graduate programs are offered by GVSU in eight different college divisions. In the 2007-2008 school year, about 23,500 students were enrolled at the university. Today, about 22% of those enrolled are graduate students.

This university was founded in 1855 and was the first of its kind to teach scientific agriculture. After several name and status changes, it eventually adopted its current name and university status in 1964. Classes began in only three buildings with a mere 63 students. Today, the campus expands over 5,200 acres and enrolls about 46,000 students.
Finance Doctoral Program
Earning a PhD in finance is only available to students who meet the admission requirements. Three letters of recommendation, a high GMAT score, strong GPA in your master's degree studies, and a personal statement are all required application materials. During the program, a minimum 3.25 GPA must be maintained while taking upper-level courses like Theory of Finance, Investment Theory, and Financial Econometrics.
