University of Montana's Graduate Finance Program
UM was founded in 1893. It has been honored by the Rolling Stone magazine by being given the title "Most Scenic Campus in America." The campus itself is in a rural area, but it is not far from an urban area when you need things offered by urban developments. Well over 13,000 students attend UM and 16% of these are graduate students. Ten schools and colleges make up the university's degree options, and 96% of people who apply here are accepted.
Master of Business Administration
The program is set up to be taken for 17 months. By taking 16 credits per semester, students can finish their MBA in 10 to 12 months. 19 credits are core courses and 13 credits are electives. Some core classes include Financial Management, International Business, and Quantitative Analysis. Four elective credits come from seminars while the remaining nine can come from the categories of finance, management, accounting, marketing, or management information systems. Both day and evening classes are offered.

RMC was founded in 1878. The campus sits on 60 acres of land today and offers those who are enrolled the opportunity to major in more than 45 different areas. A number of clubs and other organizations give students the chance to remain busy outside the classroom. Nearly 1,000 students are enrolled each year, and 8% of students are studying to earn graduate degrees. The acceptance rate of those who apply to attend this college is 68%.
Master of Accountancy
Before you can sign up for this program, you need to have taken classes like Principles of Accounting I & II, Financial Reporting I & II and Principles of Finance. Then, once you are accepted into the program, you will take classes like Taxation of Individuals, Financial Reporting III & IV, along with Taxation of Partnerships, Corporations, Estates and Trusts. To be admitted, you need to have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. It must have been in a field other than accounting. The GPA of students in their undergraduate studies must be 3.0 or higher to enter this program. All prerequisite courses and the GMAT exam must be completed prior to applying.
