Bellevue University's Graduate Finance Program

This university was founded in 1966 with only three full-time faculty members. Today, more than 10 graduate degrees and many more undergraduate degrees are offered. The school became a university in 1994 when it adopted its current name. BU is divided into five colleges of academia where the nearly 8,000 enrolled students can choose to study.

Master of Business Administration

This program offers you more than a dozen areas to specialize in. One is the finance concentration. The importance of financial knowledge in the business world today is undeniable. Prior study is not required for students to be accepted into this program and you may take any of the finance electives without pursuing a formal concentration. Classes include Risk Management, Investments, International Finance, and Cash Management.

University of Nebraska at Omaha's Graduate Finance Program

In 1908, this university was established under the name Omaha University. After a few name changes, it landed on its current name in 1968 when it merged with the University of Nebraska system. More than 150 acres of urban land are dedicated to the campus. Six colleges make up the academic options for students attending this university.

Master of Business Administration

Unconditional admission is possible if you can prove a 2.85 GPA, score of 500 on your GMAT and an employment/educational resume. Provisional Admission may be offered to students who cannot achieve these requirements but show promise. There are numerous electives to choose from, including Banking & Financial Markets, Financial Risk Management, State & Local Finance, and Financial Accounting Theory.

Creighton University's Graduate Finance Program

CU was founded in 1878 as a college. It gained university status some years later and now spans more than 120 acres outside downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Several distinct schools and colleges provide students with different means of earning their desired degrees. About 7,000 students are enrolled here each year and close to half of the total student body are graduate students. A vast majority of incoming freshmen are from the United States. The admission rate at CU is 79%.

Master of Business Administration

The MBA degree offered here is recognized both nationally and internationally. A focus on ethics, community matters and business leadership is important for students in this degree. There are four areas of specialization to choose from, including finance. 33 total credit hours are required including core courses like Managerial Finance, Marketing Management and Economic Analysis for Managers. Courses in the finance concentration include Investment Value & Theory, Capital Markets, and Equity Analysis.
