Ph.D. in Criminal Justice

Graduate students pursuing the doctoral program in Criminal Justice must complete 12 credit hours of core courses that provide a foundation for scholarly research and reasoning, 36 credit hours of elective courses in criminal justice related areas, pass a comprehensive essay exam, and write and defend a doctoral dissertation.

Master of Arts in Criminal Justice

Graduate students in the MACJ program take six required courses, four electives, fieldwork and complete a Master's project. The highly skilled and well known faculty teaches according to changing criminal justice policy and need, for instance the globalization of society and its impact on criminology is discussed as is terrorism policy.
