The University of New Mexico School of Medicine
The School of Medicine's Department of Family and Community Medicine partners with local communities, tribes, and leaders in the public and private health sectors to administer a degree program that prepares students for the challenges of improving public health in the Southwest.
Master of Public Health
With a focus on social justice, the Master of Public Health program prepares students to address the needs of the diverse population of Native and Latin Americans living in the Southwest. Students can obtain dual degrees in Master of Public Health/Nursing or Master of Public Health/Doctor of Medicine.

New Mexico State University Department of Health Science
Established in 1979, New Mexico State University Department of Health Science designed its curriculum to help students learn how to plan, organize, implement, and assess community health education programs in both private and public agencies and organizations.
Master of Public Health
Students can complete this degree either online or onsite. Curriculum is designed to prepare students for working in a variety of health care settings including community, state, and federal agencies and organizations. Students can also work to obtain a joint Master of Public Health/Master of Social Work degree.
