University of Mary's Graduate Finance Program

U-Mary is a Catholic university in Bismarck, North Dakota. In 1955, this private institution was founded as a two-year school. It became a university in 1986 and currently admits well over 2,000 students every year. Three academic divisions define the scholarly opportunities for students there. The official sports teams go by the name of "The Marauders." 34% of all enrolled students are studying to earn their graduate degrees. 81% of applicants are admitted to attend this university.

Master of Business Administration in Accountancy

MBA degrees are offered in multiple formats within this program, including Accountancy, Health Care, or Management concentrations as well as an Executive MBA degree. The ability to lead solutions to complex problems is something that every business leader needs today. This advanced program is available to every student who has earned an undergraduate degree in accounting. Both on-campus and online courses are available for completion of this degree. Foundation courses include Survey of Economics and Foundations for Financial Decisions. Core classes include Managerial Finance and Marketing. Then, for the accounting concentration, there are several courses you must take. These include Financial Accounting and Reporting, Auditing and Attestation, Accounting Regulation and Business Environment and Concepts. Many financing degrees will be opened to graduates of this program.

University of North Dakota's Graduate Finance Program

UND is a public university located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In 1883, this university was founded, six years before North Dakota became a state. Therefore, the original name of the institution was the Dakota Territorial Assembly. With 12,500 students, it is the oldest and second-largest university in the state. There are ten separate schools and colleges where students can earn their bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. The acceptance rate is 70%.

Master Business Administration

By completing this program, you will be set up to fill mid-to-upper-level manager positions. Students' decision-making skills are honed, as is the knowledge of internal and external factors that affect the management of organizations. The non-thesis option requires 24 credits of core courses and 9 additional credits in a business field. The thesis option calls for 24 credits of core courses and only six credits of electives. The remaining necessary credits are filled by completing the thesis. In both cases, classes you will take include Quantitative Analysis for Management Decisions, Accounting Information for Decision & Control, Advanced Managerial Theory, and Managerial Finance.
