Bowling Green State University's Graduate Accounting Program

In 1910, BGSU was established as Bowling Green State Normal School. In 1935, it gained university status and adopted its current name. The total student body population exceeds 20,000 students every year. Eight academic schools exist, including the College of Business Administration where you can earn your master's degree in accounting.

Master of Accountancy

By selecting to be a part of this program, you have three tracks to choose from, which are Accounting & Taxation, Information Systems Auditing & Control, and Taxation. The required courses of all three tracks include Advanced Financial Reporting, Accounting Communications, Professional and Ethical Responsibilities of the Accountant, and Professional Practice Seminar.

Cleveland State University's Graduate Accounting Programs

CSU is a public university in Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 and now stretches over 85 acres of urban land. There are eight separate colleges that offer students the chance to major in their desired degree. Nance College of Business Administration is for you if you want your master of accountancy degree.

Master of Accountancy - Financial/Auditing Program

The purpose of this program is to prepare students to enter careers in the government, public accounting and other businesses. This accountancy program is one of only 165 in the entire world that holds Accounting Accreditation from AACSB International. Classes include Attest Function, Accounting Policy, and Information Systems Auditing.

Master of Accountancy - Taxation Program

This rigorous program is designed for students who hope to achieve the highest possible preparation for a successful career in taxation. Courses include Federal Income Taxation, Tax Research and Planning, Estate and Gift Taxation, and Corporate Taxation II.

The University of Akron's Graduate Accounting Programs

Akron U was established in 1870. It is organized into 12 different colleges, including the College of Business Administration where you can seek master's degrees in accounting. Currently, there are 23,000 students enrolled here, practically all of which are from the United States. 18% are graduate students.

Master of Science in Accountancy

This specialized degree in accounting appeals to a wide variety of students from different backgrounds. It takes students 30 credits past the bachelor's degree level, 12 of which must be from 600-level courses.

Master of Taxation

This program provides intensive training for students who plan to enter the field of taxation upon graduation. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be taken, including courses that emphasize tax concepts, communication skills and tax planning. Foundation courses have the option to be waived if students are current practicing CPAs.
