As the population grows, so do the challenges facing our society's legal system. People tightly packed into urban centers are more prone to become involved in illegal activity, or to feel that they are driven to a criminal act simply because they have no better way to provide for themselves and their families. Well trained legal professionals are needed to help make sure that victims are properly represented, and perpetrators are brought to justice. The graduate criminal justice program at Boling Green State University is helping to prepare these future criminal justice practitioners.
