Widener University Graduate Human Resource Degree Program
Widener University was founded in 1966 as preparatory school for boys. In 1966 they began enrolling women and civilians. They ranked number 47 in the nation in fall of 2007 Washington monthly college rankings for best schools, a five spot jump from 2006. They have received multiple national recognitions including an invitation as one of only 19 institutions to Project Pericles and one of only 12 in the Philadelphia area named to Presidents Higher Education Community Service honor roll.
