Rhode Island College's Graduate Accounting Programs

RIC is a comprehensive college located in Providence, Rhode Island. More than 30 graduate programs are offered in the five schools of academia. About 9,000 students are enrolled annually and 20% are graduate students.

Masters of Professional Accountancy

This program was put in place to provide students with an affordable way to pursue graduate studies in accountancy. A bachelor's degree is required for admission, as well as a 3.0 GPA. The 150-credit requirement to take the CPA exam is met by this program, which takes students 30 credits beyond their undergraduate studies.

Masters of Professional Accountancy, Financial Planning Concentration

This program prepares students for personal financial planning careers. The foundational component of the program is a course titled Financial Planning Capstone Course. This 3-creidt course along with 12 credit hours of graduate-level accounting and elective classes plus 15 credit hours out of 18 to choose from are what comprise this 30-credit hour program.
