University of Wyoming College of Education:

This is considered the top school for education in the state of Wyoming and one of the most well-respected education colleges in the country. The school emphasizes the importance of professional education that includes internship work, fieldwork, as well as lectures, research, and discussions. Master of Arts in Education - Adult and Post Secondary Education:

This is for graduate students who already have a strong background and master degree in education. This program is focuses on research and theory in today's literacy education. Students begin with courses that further explore complicated methods and theories of pedagogy and reading science. Students will declare individual areas of expertise. Students will also engage in experiential field work and work closely with faculty members to develop PhD dissertations. Students may also have to attend professional educator meetings and seminars. Students will present and defend their dissertations at the end of the program to an academic panel. Students who complete this program often enter high-level administrative positions. Others may teach and continue research at prestigious universities. Many students who complete this program take roles in state and even federal government and advise and influence policy that relate to literacy education and literacy standards.
